Zondoma: The provincial director invites education stakeholders to redouble their efforts in their work


Zondoma: The Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma organized on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Gourcy, an award ceremony for actors who distinguished themselves by their hard work for the 2023 school year.

The teacher, Hélène Tiendrébeogo at the Tougo B public primary school, won the title of best teacher in the province of Zondoma, for the year 2023 for having achieved a success rate of 98.11% at the Examination of the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP) with 53 students.

She received a tablet, a set of supplies and a letter of congratulations which were given to her this Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Gourcy, during a ceremony of excellence organized by the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and non-formal (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma.

This award ceremony was chaired by the High Commissioner of Zondoma province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabé.

For the provincial director in charge of preschool and primary education, Karim Sawadogo, this activity aims to rew
ard the merits of all the actors who have distinguished themselves by their commitments, their hard work, all things which, according to him, have leads to good performance.

‘These prizes must constitute for you as well as for others who have not received one, an invitation to greater hard work,’ Mr. Sawadogo suggested to the winners.

He also launched an appeal to all partners to mobilize behind those on the ground for the success of the current school year characterized by the reopening of several schools which were closed due to insecurity.

For the high commissioner of the Zondoma province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabé, this is the place to pay tribute to all the actors for the results achieved, despite the multiple difficulties, especially the insecurity which caused disruptions of course.

Before awarding the prizes to the winners, Mr. Nabé reiterated his availability to support education stakeholders in their mission.

It should be noted that the best student in the province in the CEP obtained 151 points ou
t of 160. This is Abraham Joseph Romba from the Saint Joseph B school in Gourcy who received a bicycle and a set of supplies.

The prize for the best basic education district (CEB) went to that of Tougo which achieved a success rate of 82.55% in the CEP.

As a reminder, the province achieved a success rate of 60.82%, for the year 2023.
