Yatenga: Oumar Ouédraogo, new provincial director in charge of Agriculture

Ouahigouya: The High Commissioner of the province of Yatenga, Tasséré Nacoulma, installed the new provincial director of agriculture, animal and fisheries resources of Yatenga, Oumar Ouédraogo, in his new functions on Thursday April 4, 2024 in Ouahigouya.

Appointed during the council of ministers of February 21, 2024 as provincial director of agriculture, animal and fisheries resources of Yatenga, the livestock advisor, Oumar Ouédraogo, was officially installed in his functions by the High Commissioner of the Yatenga province. He replaced Oumarou Gnodogo in this position, who led the provincial leadership for approximately 11 months.

For the new provincial director in charge of agriculture in Yatenga, Oumar Ouédraogo, it is with a sense of responsibility and an unwavering commitment to the agricultural world, animal and fishery resources that he takes the head of this provincial directorate.

‘I am committed to doing everything possible to meet your expectations. But I would not be able to achieve the expec
ted results without the support of my colleagues. For this, I remain open to all and I ask for your support for the success of the mission,’ he indicated.

After 11 months of service at the provincial directorate in charge of agriculture, the former provincial director, Oumarou Gnodogo, is called to other functions.

‘I have been in charge of this department for about 11 months. Today, I leave with a heart full of joy for the results achieved. All these achievements were possible thanks to everyone’s help. I am grateful to you for all these efforts. I invite my former collaborators to provide the same support that you offered me for the success of his mission,’ declared the outgoing provincial director.

The High Commissioner of the Yatenga province, while congratulating the outgoing director for the achievements, invited the new director to get to work quickly because the security context does not make things easy for anyone responsible
