Former US President Donald Trump, who is running again in the upcoming elections, says Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky should have prevented his country from going to war.
In an interview with the PBD podcast he also said he felt sorry for the Ukrainian people, for whom, in his opinion, this conflict was a lost war.
“Zelensky is one of the greatest salesmen I have ever seen. Every time he appears, he is given $100 billion. Is there anyone else in history who received so much money?” the politician quipped.
Previously, Donald Trump had repeatedly indicated that if he regained power, he would be able to10resolve the conflict between Moscow and kyiv within 24 hours. In addition, he expressed his intention to withdraw the United States from NATO.
The next US presidential election will take place in November.
