The Wend-Manegda private college thanks God for the satisfactory results of its students


Ouagadougou: The Wend-Manegda private college organized a thanksgiving mass on Saturday July 6, 2024, in Ouagadougou. A celebration which follows the very satisfactory results of 99.15% in the BEPC, 100% in the Bac series A and 97.87% in the Bac series D.

The Wend-Manegda private high school closed its academic activities for the year 2023-2024 on Saturday July 6, 2024 in the presence of its managers, parents and students.

The theme chosen for this 2023-2024 school year is: ‘Following the example of the Holy Family, I am committed to more discipline for participatory living together’.

The occasion was beautiful to celebrate a thanksgiving mass to say thank you to God for his blessings.

A successful school year for students in exam classes.

For the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC), out of 118 candidates presented, 117 passed their exam, i.e. a rate of 99.15%.

For Baccalaureate series D candidates, out of 47 candidates presented, there were 46 successes, i.e. a rate of 97.87%.

At the Baccalaureat
e series A, a very satisfactory rate of 100% was achieved. The 25 candidates presented were all admitted

‘At the academic level, the discipline, courage and self-sacrifice of students are the conditions for good success. Teachers must also be diligent and cultured to meet the different expectations of students,’ declares Brother Paul Sawadogo, Director of the Wend-Manegda Private College.

For him, students as well as supervisors must play their part for academic success.

Honorine Sonsanné, French teacher, was retired at the end of this school year after 23 years of service at Wend-Manegda college.

‘We give thanks to God who has accompanied us throughout the year, for the success of our students and for our experienced colleague in education, Ms. Sonsanné, who is retiring,’ notes Brother Paul Sawadogo.

Ms. Sonsanné expressed her gratitude to the first managers of the establishment.

Father Jean Doamba, president of the Eucharistic celebration, congratulated the students as well as the management staff for
the results obtained during this school year.

‘A good education is still possible in our regions despite the difficulties. I encourage the students to persevere because it is only a stage in their life,’ says Father Doamba.

For more than 40 years, the Wend-Manegda private college of the Brothers of the Holy Family has worked to ensure quality education for students.
