The Patriotic Support Fund and the Prime Minister’s remarks on the front page of today’s publications

Ouagadougou: The daily newspapers of this Tuesday widely commented on the 2nd ordinary session of the year 2024 of the orientation council of the patriotic support fund and the remarks of the Prime Minister on the occasion of the rise of colors yesterday Monday.

The Prime Minister’s office staff sacrificed themselves to the traditional surge of colour yesterday morning. On this occasion, Prime Minister Me Apollinaire Joachimson Kyélem de Tambela addressed the Burkinabè on the situation in the country.

In this regard, the state daily, Sidwaya displays on its front page ‘National situation: Do not be afraid, says Apollinaire Joachimson Kyélem of Tambela’.

According to the daily, the Prime Minister reassures all Burkinabè of the determination of the transitional authorities not to abandon the country in the hands of opportunists and adventurers.

In the same vein, private newspaper Le Pays reports that ‘With President Traoré, Burkina is in good hands’. According to the Prime Minister, President Ibrahim Traoré
is on the right track to lead the country to success.

The dean of private daily newspapers, L’Observateur Paalga, displays on its headline: “The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso: Be vigilant, but do not be afraid!”

According to the daily, Me Apollinaire Joachimson Kyélem of Tambela, beyond assurance, invites people to be vigilant so as not to fall into the traps of manipulators.

On the same note in the daily Bobolais, L’Express du Faso reports that the head of government is assured of the fact that “the regime of the people, supported by the people of the AES, cannot fall.”

In another register in the state daily, Sidwaya raises the subject of the patriotic support fund. In this regard, the newspaper writes on its front page, ‘Patriotic support fund: more than 86 billion FCFA collected at the end of June 2024. Sidwaya specifies that the total amount mobilized as of June 25 amounts to 86 billion 203 million 443 thousand 477 FCFA.

Regarding the 86 billion collected by the fund, the private daily, L’Observateu
r Paalga, informs that the amount was mobilized during the first half of 2024.

The private newspaper, Le Pays, maintains that the amount mobilized allowed effective coverage of the expenses of volunteers for the defense of the party.

In its section As much to say…, the Bobolais daily displays: ‘Patriotic support fund, the Burkinabè more committed than ever’.

For the colleague, the Burkinabés are aware of the security situation in the country and ready to give their best for the liberation of the country.
