Zorgho, The High Commissioner of the province of Ganzourgou, Mrs. Aminata Sorgho/Gouba officially installed on Tuesday October 24, 2023 in Zorgho, the new provincial director of infrastructure and access to Ganzourgou, Ousmane Badolo in his position. The ceremony saw a strong mobilization of bodies, collaborators, and friends of the incoming and outgoing.
Civil engineer Ousmane Badolo is now the Provincial Director of Infrastructure and Accessibility (DPID) of the Ganzourgou province.
He was officially installed in his new position on October 24, 2023 in Zorgho, capital of the province of Ganzourgou, by the first administrative head of the province, Ms. Aminata Sorgho/Gouba.
Mr. Badolo replaces Alidou Zoungrana in this position who spent more than 4 years there. During the ceremony, the staff representative of the provincial infrastructure directorate, Moumini Sinaré praised the excellence of the relationships that the outgoing Mr. Zoungrana maintained with all the staff.
He praised his rigor in his work and some achievements gained during his stay in the province.
We note, among other things, the construction of more than 265 km of rural roads, the maintenance of nearly 280 km of existing roads, the asphalting of more than 40 km of roads, the construction of several crossing structures, classrooms, boreholes and houses for young people and women.
He welcomed the newcomer and expressed the commitment of all the agents to support him in his mission.
The outgoing director, Alidou Zoungrana thanked the regional and provincial authorities and all the bodies for the support he received during his stay in the province.
He congratulated his successor on his appointment and asked the authorities and his colleagues to provide him with the same support.
The new director, Ousmane Badolo, expressed his gratitude to the highest authorities of the country and particularly to the Minister of Infrastructure and Accessibility for his appointment to this position of responsibility.
For him, in a context of insecurity, the road must play a strategic role to allow fighting forces to be more effective. “The end of this war necessarily involves maintaining the road network in order to avoid areas favorable to the planting of explosive objects,” he insisted.
Thus measuring the heaviness of the task awaiting him, he requested the support of the regional infrastructure directorate, all the driving forces of the province and his direct collaborators to succeed in his mission.
He congratulated the outgoing man for the work done and made a commitment to preserve his achievements if not improve them.
As for the regional director in charge of infrastructures of the central plateau, Sombasséré Sawadogo, he, like the High Commissioner, praised the dynamism and dedication of the outgoing and invited the new one to humility, to listen and to work hard. team with its collaborators.
Ms. Sorgho expressed her availability and that of all the bodies constituted to accompany her.
As a reminder, civil engineer Ousmane Badolo was appointed to the Council of Ministers on Friday September 20, 2023 as the new provincial director of infrastructure and access to Ganzourgou.
