Ouagadougou: The government has given a favorable opinion to a request for approval for the appointment of Major General of the Pakistani army, Anjum Anayat, as future extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Pakistan to Burkina Faso.
‘The Council agreed to the appointment of Major General Anjum Anayat, as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Burkina Faso, with residence in Tripoli, Libya,’ we can read in the report from the council of ministers this Wednesday.
The Pakistani general officer, currently retired, took office as ambassador to Libya in November 2023.
