‘We are happy to have met the challenge of the organization,’ he rejoiced.

Despite the difficulties of all kinds, said Mr. Da, his team worked day and night to offer this pleasant moment to the children.

‘At the regional and national level, it’s difficult. There are events that no longer take place because resources are scarce. But we didn’t look at that, we looked at the joy the event brought to the children. It obviously creates a mix and cohesion between education stakeholders in the city of Gaoua and the students,’ he said.

For his part, the governor of the South-West region, Boureima Savadogo, welcomed the success of this edition of FESTIPEG.

According to him, organizing such an activity allows children to express their talents but to extend the cultural aspect of the South-West region throughout the country.

‘This third edition of this festival is a great success and it is an opportunity for us once again to say thank you to the promoter,’ declared the gov
ernor.

Before saluting the resilience of the promoter, because according to Boureima Savadogo, in these current times, it is not easy to organize such activities.

This edition was held on the theme ‘Protection and education of children in crisis situations’.

In the opinion of the first person in charge of the South-West, this theme is challenging.

‘I saw through slam and theater that the children already understood the theme and above all that the children also gave us proposals and possible solutions and it is up to us adults to ensure that this is a reality,’ he stressed.

The sponsor of this edition, Stéphane Kossi, said he was contributing to the success of this event because despite the situation, Burkina Faso must be resilient
