Ouagadougou: The Deputy Secretary General (SGA) of the Burkinabè Football Federation (FBF) Noufou Rabo sent a letter of resignation to the president of the FBF, a copy of which the AIB received on Thursday.
‘I hereby inform you of my decision to resign from my position as Deputy Secretary General of the Burkinabè Football Federation with immediate effect for personal reasons,’ wrote Deputy Secretary General of the FBF Noufou Rabo.
Appointed on March 24, 2020, SGA Rabo said he worked with ‘sacrifice and determination’ which allowed him to gain experience in his professional career. He also thanked his employer for the trust that had been placed in him.
This is not the first resignation within the FBF which is two months away from the renewal of its executive committee. National team coordinator Adama Ouédraogo and FBF media officer Kader Traoré also resigned in February and April of this year respectively.
The renewal of the FBF Executive Committee is scheduled for August 17.
