The conductor of major projects, Wendpanga Bruno Compaoré, takes office


Ouagadougou: The new Executive Director of the National Office of Major Projects of Burkina, Wendpanga Bruno Compaoré was installed in his position this Monday in Ouagadougou, by the Secretary General of the Presidency of Faso, Dr Zakaria Soré.

Appointed in the Council of Ministers on Wednesday January 5, 2024, Wendpanga Bruno Compaoré, Treasury Inspector, officially took office with the congratulations and encouragement of the Secretary General of the Presidency of Faso.

He expressed his gratitude to the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré for the trust placed in him at such a special moment in the life of the Nation. ‘I measure with serenity the extent of the responsibility that falls to me in taking the reins of the National Office of Major Projects,’ indicated the new executive director.

He reassured the Secretary General that ‘the work will be accomplished in order, respect and discipline so that the actions of the Office can be effective, efficient and effective’ with the commitment o
f staff and by consolidating existing achievements.

Mr. Compaoré also says he recognizes the work done by his predecessor. ‘His commitment to the Office has been total, and I will endeavor to follow in his footsteps and add my personal touch to add earth to earth to make the termite mound,’ underlined the new executive director.

The outgoing executive director, Sambé Yannick Somda, proud to have laid the founding foundations, reiterated his thanks to the authorities for the trust, and to the agents of the BNGP-B as well as the other services of the Presidency of Faso and the ministries for the the support he received during his mandate.

The National Office of Major Projects of Burkina Faso, the fruit of the vision of the Burkinabè authorities, has the mission of identifying, designing and making available to Burkina Faso, projects useful for the population due to their socio-economic impacts, their relevance in terms of taking into account the real needs of populations
