The Banwa population takes ownership of the National Day of Patriotic Commitment.

Solenzo: The population of the Banwa province came out massively to raise their colors in front of the Solenzo prefecture this Tuesday, March 26 morning, celebrating the national day of patriotic commitment initiated by the country’s authorities.

The Secretary General of the province, Abdoul Kader Kongzabré, officials and department heads as well as customary and religious authorities accompanied by more than a hundred people gathered in front of the Solenzo prefecture square, some dressed in traditional clothing. Faso Danfani’ others in ‘Kôkô Dunda’.

It was 7:10 a.m. Abdoul Kader Kongzabré Secretary General of the province representing the High Commissioner spoke in front of the many people to explain the objectives of this day.

‘We must, through this day, cultivate love for the homeland, show solidarity among ourselves, cultivate tolerance, good citizenship because we only have one country, Burkina Faso, and we must be proud of belong to it,’ declared the provincial Secretary General, Abdoul Kader Kongza
bré, in his message.

The start was given at 7:30 a.m. for the raising of the colors provided by two FDS followed by the national anthem sung by the audience.

‘Before we believed that the flag is for students and civil servants but today we have understood that the flag is our country and if we love our country, we must love its flag (…). The President of Faso has made it so that we are now happy to be from this country,’ said the departmental coordinator of women at the end of the show of colors.
