Ouagadougou: The Minister of State in charge of defense, Kassoum Coulibaly invited Sunday, at the Place de Nation, during the Tabaski prayer, the Burkinabè to support each other for the return of peace in the country.

‘Let’s drop all hatred between us. Let us join hands so that our country can emerge from this difficult situation,’ declared the Minister of State for National Defense, Kassoum Coulibaly, this Sunday, June 16 in Ouagadougou.

According to the minister, those who have personal considerations must give them up for the general interest.

For him, the best interests of the nation must take precedence over all other considerations in this context of security crisis.

While wishing a happy celebration to the Muslim community, Minister Coulibaly expressed the government’s gratitude to the latter who has always listened attentively to calls for solidarity with the populations.

For its part, the Muslim community, through its president, Mahamadi Koanda, renewed its prayers for the return of peace to Bur
kina Faso.

‘We ask Allah to give strength to our fighters so that they can completely liberate the country,’ implored Mr. Koanda.

According to the president of the community, before being Muslims or Christians, we are first and foremost brothers and sisters. For this, he concluded, we must live together in cohesion.
