Ouagadougou: The double world champion in triple jump (2023) and triple indoor jump (2024), Burkinabè Hugues Fabrice Zango, enters competition Thursday evening at the Sotteville international athletics meeting – lès-Rouen (France), learned from the AIB.
This activity is considered a warm-up for the Burkinabe triple jumper before the Paris Olympic Games in a few days.
The international athletics meeting in Sotteville-lès-Rouen, in Normandy, has thirteen disciplines this year, namely the women’s 400 meters hurdles, the women’s pole vault, the men’s and women’s 100 meters, the women’s triple jump and the 200 meters for men and women.
There are also the men’s and women’s 1500 meters, the men’s 110 meters hurdles, the men’s and women’s 800 meters, and the women’s 100 meters hurdles.
The event, which generally brings together more than 5,000 spectators, will be held on the evening of Thursday July 4, 2024 alone from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., French time.
