From August 1, the Burkinabe government will carry out an operation to identify undeveloped plots in the SONATUR Ouaga 2000 zone, before giving buyers three months of grace to comply.
‘Purchasers of land located in the sites of the National Urban Land Development Company (SONATUR) of OUAGA 2000 are informed that from August 1, 2024, an operation will be initiated to establish the non-development of plots in said area. » indicates a press release from the Ministry in charge of the Economy.
The same source maintains that during the operation, technical teams will carry out field trips in order to identify insufficient development.
It specifies that the people concerned are invited to physically present themselves on their respective lands, provided with certificates or documents justifying their acquisitions.

t to a withdrawal procedure, in accordance with the law’, to specify the same note.
As a reminder, in 2017, according to a study carried out on part of site A, out of 4281 residential plots, 1403 were not developed, or 32.77%. Out of 431 commercial plots, only 195 are built or 45.24%.
