The secretary general of the province of Sissili, Baowindsida Bingo chaired on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in the grounds of the Léo high commission, the solemn ceremony marking the first edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation established by the Burkinabè government .
The raising of the flag and the reading of the speech of the Head of State by the Secretary General of Sissili, Baowindsida Bingo representing the High Commissioner of the province were the highlights of this ceremony.
Dressed in Koko dunda for some and Faso danfani for others, the bodies and the different components of the community led by Mr. Bingo sang the national anthem during the raising of the colors.
The participants were then entitled to the content of the message from the Head of State delivered by the representative of the High Commissioner of the province of Sissili.
It appears from this speech that these days will now be held on March 26 and October 2 of each year and for 15 days.

Bingo then justified the choice of each day in relation to the political commitment of the father of the Burkinabe revolution, Captain Thomas Sankara.
‘During these days, everyone must take actions to promote the values of patriotism and citizenship,’ he maintained.
