Sissili/BEPC 2024: 2,970 candidates set out to conquer their parchment

The High Commissioner of the Sissili province, Tewindé Isaac Sia, launched this Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the written tests for the First Cycle Study Certificate (BEPC), 2024 session at the Communal High School of Leo. 2,970 candidates are vying to win the parchment.

Candidates from the province of Sissili, numbering 2,970 including 1,736 girls and 1,234 boys, take the written tests for the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC), on Tuesday June 4, 2024, in 18 secondary centers including 13 juries.

The number saw a decline compared to the 2023 session which was 3,438 candidates.

The starting point for the written tests was given by the High Commissioner of the Sissili province, Tewindé Isaac Sia accompanied by the provincial director in charge of secondary education in Sissili, Mimtiri Oualbéogo and the military and paramilitary authorities.

‘We have come to convey our greetings and our wishes for a good composition,’ the High Commissioner addressed the candidates.

He invited them not to panic, to stay foc
used on their subject and to work calmly so as not to compromise their luck.

Mimtiri Oualbéogo reassured that all arrangements have been made for the smooth running of the exam.

He praised the support of local authorities as well as those in the education system for the work they do on a daily basis to ensure quality education for the province’s students.
