The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Center-West Region (AJECO) offered on Friday July 26, 2024 in Léo, installation kits to 45 internally displaced women from the province of Sissili trained in saponification techniques, under the chairmanship of the High Commissioner, Tewindé Isaac Sia.
According to the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Central-West Region (AJECO), Alexis Zongo, this delivery follows the training of these 45 internally displaced women from Sissili trained in saponification techniques, held from 24 to 28 June 2024 in Leo.
These installation kits are, among other things, composed of pots, plastic basins, buckets, spatulas, sieves, cups and molds.
This equipment will allow the 45 displaced women trained to be more operational in the production of ball and liquid soap.
‘The peace efforts launched by the government to facilitate the return of IDPs to their respective localities challenged us,’ said the president of AJECO.

is dynamic that his association initiated a project called ‘Support and resilience project for 500 IDPs in the Center-West region’.
He also maintained that the support of partners and goodwill made it possible not only to train internally displaced women in saponification techniques, but also to provide them with soap production equipment, food and clothing items. .
The association will bring together internally displaced women in each province who are already trained and operational in a cooperative and which will act as a relay to local authorities.
The High Commissioner of Sissili, Tewendé Isaac Sia, took the opportunity to thank on behalf of the beneficiaries, the association and its partners for all the actions deployed for the benefit of displaced women.
Sia invited women trained in saponification to form an association to facilitate the sale of their products.
He reassured them of his availability to always support them in carrying out their income-generating activities (IGA).
