SIAEL is in full swing in Komsilga: Zebus sell for between 1 million and 2 million FCFA


The 7th International Agricultural and Livestock Show (SIAEL) opened on February 20, 2024, is in full swing in Komsilga, a commune located on the southern outskirts of Ouagadougou.

Agricultural products are on display and oxen from cattle fattening.

Joseph Ouédraogo, exhibitor from the Northern region, 50 years of activity, exchanges his big zebu at 2 million FCFA and the other at 1 million 50 thousand FCFA.

His colleague Moumouni Zoromé sells his animal for 1 million FCFA.

Other potential can be discovered at SIAEL which closes its doors on February 27, 2024.

250 exhibitors from Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Algeria and Morocco are present.

For its promoter Jean Victor Ouédraogo, after the triumph against terrorism, ‘the salvation of Burkina Faso rests on agriculture and livestock breeding’.
