Séno: 100 community leaders trained in endogenous conflict resolution mechanisms

The Alliance for Development, National Resilience and Solidarity in Burkina (ADRN-SB) organized in Dori, from October 15 to 17, 2024, a training session for 100 community leaders, with a view to equipping them on endogenous conflict resolution mechanisms.

According to the ADRN-SB coordinator, Ahmed Maïga, this training is part of the implementation of the project Promoting peace and social cohesion in the commune of Dori.

This activity will help revitalize traditional conflict management mechanisms by adapting them to contemporary realities, he explained.

Mr. Maïga added that these trainings are part of a holistic approach to promoting peace and social cohesion.

The long-term stability of Dori and the Sahel region depends on the ability of communities to peacefully manage their differences and build a common future, he concluded.

For three days, participants practiced identifying, analyzing, understanding and resolving conflicts using peaceful and endogenous conflict resolution instruments.

They expres
sed their gratitude to the Alliance for Development, National Resilience and Solidarity in Burkina (ADRN-SB) for this training, which will enable them to fully play their role within their communities.
