Sankmoney offers equipment to the Pouytenga health district

The Sankmoney company handed over ten beds and ten mattresses to the Pouytenga health district on Saturday to salute its commitment to the health of the population and in particular the FDS.

The Pouytenga health district stopped to celebrate its 5th days of excellence which benefit from support from the Sankmoney company.

On June 8, 2024, several authorities, including the General Director of Sankmoney Rodrigue Zabsonré, expressed their gratitude to healthcare personnel for the services provided to the population.

According to Mr. Zabsonré, the activities of health workers aim at the well-being of the population.

This is why he congratulated the doctors and nurses who, despite the difficult context, are working to relieve the suffering of the injured (FDS) and the sick.

The DG also handed over a batch of logistical equipment consisting of ten beds and ten mattresses to the health district.

This support, in addition to other support, according to Mr. Zabsonré, aims to respond to the pressing demand for p
atient care, particularly those injured in the Combatant Forces.

The Minister Delegate in charge of Security Mahamadou Sana welcomed the coordination of actions carried out by health agents and the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in the context of the fight against terrorism in Burkina Faso.

‘When we carry out activities on the ground in terms of reconquering the territory, there is this support from health workers, not only for the benefit of the populations but also for the injured FDS,’ declared the Minister Delegate for the security

According to him, health workers are of vital importance to the fighting forces engaged in the theater of operations.

Minister Sana suggested that health workers constitute a strong jersey at this time in the fight against terrorism.

According to him, the determination and commitment of health workers alongside the FDS made it possible to create a climate of stability in several areas.

ellence, also recognized the contribution of the Pouytenga health district to the socio-economic development of the Kourittenga province.

‘A healthy population is more resilient in the face of the security and socio-economic challenges we face,’ he said.

With this in mind, he praised the dedication and professionalism of the agents, while inviting them to take the measure of the challenge with self-sacrifice and resilience.

According to the chief physician, Dr Ousmane Isidore Kalmogo, the Pouytenga health district has 28 public health facilities, 10 private health centers and three pharmacies with a total of 214 agents in all categories.

It should be noted that the 5th edition of the health district days of excellence had the theme: ‘Resilience and excellence at the heart of our challenges’.

On this occasion, several health workers and centers were awarded awards based on their commitment and self-sacrifice at work.
