Ranking: Egypt in the lead, Morocco climbs to 2nd place in commercial attractiveness in Africa

According to Bloom Consulting’s latest ranking for 2024-2025, Egypt ranks first in terms of business attractiveness in Africa, followed by Morocco, which climbed to 2nd place, surpassing South Africa. This result highlights the improvement of Morocco’s investment environment, supported by its social stability, economic attractiveness and digital infrastructure efforts. Morocco also benefits from a strong online presence, despite recent challenges, such as the September 2023 earthquake. South Africa drops to 3rd place, due to the ongoing impacts of the pandemic on its tourism sector.
