The Sunni community of Gourcy performed the prayer marking the end of Ramadan this Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in the courtyard of the Alwahdatoul Islamia Franco-Arab school located in sector 2 of Gourcy.
The prayer was led by Imam Abdoulaye Ouédraogo who in his sermon implored forgiveness from the Almighty through the grace of Ramadan which has just ended.
He also invited the Muslim faithful to cultivate love of neighbor, tolerance, integrity, in short the values ??of living together.
Imam Abdoulaye Ouédraogo also invited the faithful to use their wealth in the service of good and religion.
Provincial and municipal authorities were present at this Eid El Fitr prayer. At the same time the Tidjiania community held its prayers near the Zondoma Provincial high school under the direction of the imam of the great mosque of Gourcy Ousmane Sana. Burkina Faso Aziz KIEMDE
