Parliamentary cooperation: The President of the Malian Parliament on an official visit to Ouagadougou

The president of the National Transition Council (CNT) of Mali, Malick Diaw, and a delegation of Malian parliamentarians, arrived in Ouagadougou on Wednesday July 24, 2024, for an official visit of 72 hours.

Malick Diaw was greeted when he got off the plane by his Burkinabè counterpart, Dr Ousmane Bougouma, accompanied by members of his office.

This official visit is an opportunity for the two sister parliaments to boost their cooperation frameworks in response to current priorities, in particular the prospects for the creation of confederal sessions of the parliaments of the member countries of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES ).

The president of the Malian CNT will take part in the plenary session on Thursday July 25, 2024 where he will address the Burkinabè people through his national representation.

In addition to this, during this visit, the head of the Malian Parliament will sponsor the graduation ceremony of the 12th promotion of the initial training of fire officers from the
Higher Institute of Civil Protection Studies.
