Parliamentary cooperation: the President of Faso exchanges with the Head of the Malian parliament


Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE received in audience this Thursday, the President of the National Transitional Council (CNT) of Mali, Colonel Malick DIAW at the head of a delegation of Malian parliamentarians present in Burkina Faso as part of of an official visit.

Colonel DIAW said he came to pay a courtesy visit to the President of Faso, convey to him the fraternal and warm greetings of his brother and friend, Colonel Assimi GOITA, President of the Transition of Mali, and thank the brother people of Burkina Faso for all the efforts made for the benefit of the Malian people.

During the audience, the two personalities mainly talked about parliamentary cooperation. ‘The President of Faso invited us to strengthen the parliamentary ties which have always existed between our two countries and which will broaden very soon. We know that Burkina has always been a destination for the Malian authorities. Today, we are talking about the Confederation Treaty, and very soon the parliament of
the AES confederation will see the light of day,’ argued the President of the CNT of the Republic of Mali who praised the leadership and foresight of the Chiefs State of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.

Colonel Malick DIAW will co-sponsor with the President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, Ousmane BOUGOUMA, this Friday, July 26, 2024, the exit ceremony of the 12th promotion of the Higher Institute of Studies and Civil Protection (ISEPC).
