Ouagadougou: Ouattara Djakaridja Hema, economist planner, was appointed this Wednesday general director of the sugar company SN-SOSUCO, in place of Séraphin Dembélé whose appointment, at the beginning of February, was suspended on the day of his installation.

The council of ministers this Wednesday promoted Ouattara Djakaridja Hema general director of the sugar company SN-SOSUCO, based in Banfora.

His predecessor, Séraphin Dembélé, was appointed on February 7 before being challenged in court by the company’s main shareholder, ‘Sucre participation’.

In November 2023, the government also replaced the director general of the National Water and Sanitation Office after proceedings challenging his appointment
