Ouagadougou: Students from the Kouritenga CEG can now provide first aid

Students at the Kouritenga General Education Center (CEG) received training on first aid on Wednesday. This training is part of the initiative of the Russian-Burkinabe association to teach young people the behavior to behave when faced with a person who is in trouble.

The African initiativ association was at the Kouritenga CEG yesterday afternoon to train around fifty students in first aid procedures.

Like other schools and high schools, Dr Dimitri Doblnya who guided this training, showed the children what to do when faced with an unconscious person, a person who is choking, who has breathing problems, who is drowning, and who gets electrocuted.

He also stressed that it is always necessary to designate a person who will call the ambulance.

‘You must also and above all make sure that you risk nothing by trying to help this person. “, he added.

The students also have a pharmaceutical product kit which contains essential products, notably Betadine, compress, Efferalgan.

For Ms. Tiendrebéogo Alima trainee a
s a school life facilitator, this training is welcome because it would now be beneficial to them everywhere when faced with a crisis or accident situation.

She also thanked Dr Doblnya for the quality of the training provided.

Ouédraogo Clarisse and Zoundi Awa IInd twin, students in 6th grade appreciated this initiative.

For Zoundi Awa, the second twin, students in 6th grade , who dreams of becoming a doctor, finds this training has allowed her to have some knowledge of this profession that she dreams of pursuing later.
