Ouagadougou: The high commissioner of the province of Namentenga and president of the constituted bodies, Adama Conseiga called on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in Boulas, during the 1st edition of the celebration of the national days of patriotic commitment and of citizen participation to support families bereaved by terrorism in Burkina Faso.

It was in front of the flag that the High Commissioner of the Namentenga province, Adama Conseiga (North-Central) delivered the message from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré to the bodies mobilized on this occasion.

Conseiga appealed for more solidarity to families bereaved by terrorism and encouraged the fighting forces for the results achieved on the ground.

He also congratulated the officials, particularly those in charge of health, who instantly support the resettled populations.

The first official of the province indicated that the process of resettlement of the populations is continuing normally while specifying that that of the commune of Zéguédéguin will
be carried out shortly.

Having followed with great interest the message of the High Commissioner, the provincial director of Agriculture, Animal and Fishery Resources, Mahamado Sidibé estimated that the dates of March 26 and October 2 are very symbolic for our country.

National days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation are celebrated every March 26 and October 2 by the Burkinabè government, to pay tribute to the president of the revolution, Thomas Sankara.

‘The historical content of these dates allows us to draw inspiration from them to continue the struggle initiated by the father of our country’s revolution for its true independence,’ maintained Mr. Sidibé.

He recalled that American President John Kennedy said this in these terms: ‘Every American when waking up in the morning must ask themselves this question. what I can bring to my country and not what I earn in my country.

Hardly, young people must take their destiny into their own hands by promoting cultural values by resolutely getting
involved in the defense and integral reconquest of the country and in all areas of development.

According to the president of the coordination of women’s associations, Ms. Bibiane Sandouidi Ouédraogo, this initiative is beneficial because it will allow us to recharge our batteries from the ideals of the father of the revolution for the development of the country.

After reading the message from the High Commissioner, Adama Conseiga, the bodies agreed to determine a health day.
