Namentenga: 60 learners at the end of training at the Bonam rural promotion center receive animals


The High Commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, chaired this September 20, 2024 in Boulsa, the session of handing over domestic animals to 60 learners at the end of their training in breeding, from the Rural Promotion Center (CPR) of Bonam in the Center-North region .

“Highlight the knowledge acquired during the 2 years of training at the Bonam CPR to motivate the State to continue its efforts and convince skeptics of the importance of the CPRs,” said the High Commissioner of the Namentenga province, Adama Conseiga.

Mr. Conseiga said that each of the 60 livestock training students will receive, according to their request, domestic animals ranging from poultry to small and large ruminants and pigs.

The beneficiaries completed their training last May, what they have just received is a complement to the kits they had received.

The province’s top official spoke this Friday, September 20, 2024, at the premises of the provincial livestock directorate, during a ceremony to hand over domest
ic animals to beneficiaries.

“These include 18 cattle, 105 chickens, 14 roosters, 192 sheep and 10 pigs,” said the director of the Bonam CPR, Boureima Nana.

The regional director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of the Centre-North, Ragnimsom Serges Igor Birba, also explained on the occasion that “the beneficiaries finished their training last May and what they have just received is a complement to the kits they had received.”

The High Commissioner congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to take good care of these animals so that they generate profits for the happiness of their respective families and the entire nation.

The spokesperson for the beneficiaries, Bibata Bilabèga also expressed their gratitude to the State for this support towards them.
