The sons and daughters of the commune of Tiébélé, a locality located about thirty km east of Pô, offered on March 16, 2024, food, a motorcycle and cement, to the Volunteers for the defense of the homeland ( VDP) of Tiébélé, committed to the reconquest of the national territory. The donation was presented during a large meeting in support of the transition.
The chain of solidarity with the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) of the province continues.
This time, it was the sons and daughters of the commune of Tiébélé living in Ouagadougou and elsewhere who showed their support for the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) of the said commune by offering them 20 bags of rice of 50 kg, 05 cans of 25 liter oil, a motorbike and 02 tons of cement.
The donation was presented this Saturday March 16, 2024 in Tiébélé during a large meeting in support of the Transition.
According to their spokesperson, Georges T. Batina, this gesture is a way for them to recognize the efforts and sacrific
e made by all of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and in particular the VDP of the commune of Tiébélé.
‘This contribution follows the call from the highest authorities of the country to contribute to the peace effort by supporting the combat forces engaged in the theaters of operations,’ he added.
Batina also maintained that the FDS and VDP are doing an excellent job of securing the commune, which allows the population to go about freely and carry out their activities.
He went on to state that they will support the VDPs with fuel to enable them carry out their security activities.
Concerning the cement, the spokesperson indicated that it is intended for the construction of a VDP station in the village of Guénon.
The FDS nationals of Tiébélé and serving elsewhere welcomed the initiative of their parents and asked for frank collaboration with the FDS of the commune.
Representatives of different religious communities and young people and women reaffirmed their support for the Transition and the action
s it has undertaken.
They blessed the fighting forces engaged in the reconquest of the national territory and prayed for the return of peace to Burkina Faso.
The association of patriots of Nahouri ‘les wayignans’ also handed over four spare tires to the VDP of the commune of Tiébélé on this occasion.
