Mouhoun: The governor invites baccalaureate candidates to trust in themselves

The governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, invited this Tuesday, June 18, 2024, to trust in themselves, during the official launch of the baccalaureate exams for the 2024 session.

It was at the Dédougou municipal high school that the governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, officially launched the exam with the symbolic opening of the envelope for a series D test. and G2.

He invited them to take their work seriously and to trust in themselves.

‘I have come to show you all my encouragement and ask you to succeed in this exam which opens the doors to university,’ the governor said to the candidates.

For Babo Pierre Bassinga, the baccalaureate exam is not a competition. To pass the tests, you must know how to control yourself, take the exercise seriously and overcome all fear.

‘Apply yourself and you will see success at the end of your efforts,’ he advised.

For the regional director of post-primary and secondary education of Boucle du Mouhoun, Denis Vimboué,
everything is done for the smooth running of the session.

‘Thanks to the combined efforts of the general administration and the Defense and Security Forces, we were able to transport the subjects and examination materials to the different centers. A lot of work has been done for weeks to allow the session to begin without difficulty,’ he said.

For supervision, Mr. Vimboué will tour the different composition centers in order to provide support to the jury presidents and resolve any difficulties that may arise in the field.

In the Boucle du Mouhoun region, 8,423 candidates including 4,096 girls and 4,327 boys are in the running for the baccalaureate exam for the 2024 session.

The distribution by province gives 2,133 candidates including 996 girls for the Balé in 09 juries, 365 candidates including 155 girls for the Banwa in 02 juries, 834 candidates including 389 girls for 04 juries at the Kossi level, 3,530 candidates including 1,763 girls for Mouhoun for 15 juries, 824 including 445 girls for Nayala with
03 juries and 737 candidates including 348 girls for Sourou distributed among 03 juries for a total of 36 juries.

In the Boucle du Mouhoun, 4,154 candidates for the A4 series, 4,205 candidates for the D series and the AA series (Agri-food) 37 candidates, will compose.

For the C series, 33 candidates, 43 candidates for the ETCH series (Electrotechnics), 64 candidates for the F3 series, 64 for the G2 series and finally 25 candidates for the MVA series (Motor vehicle maintenance).
