PARIS: French police arrested more than 36,000 drug traffickers last year, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said on BFMTV.

‘Police officers, gendarmes and ministry services are everywhere to fight against drugs with major successful battles in this war,’ declared the minister. According to him, 2023 was a ‘record year’ with 36,329 arrested in the territory.
