Media/Super Galian: the villa worth more than 18 million CFA francs remains in competition for 2025

Ouagadougou: The super Galian endowed, among other things, with a villa worth 18.5 million FCFA was not awarded in 2024 due to a lack of an average of at least 17/20. But it will be put back into competition in 2025.

The curtains fell in the night from Friday to Saturday on the 27th edition of the Galian Awards, rewarding the best journalistic and technical productions.

Special prizes offered by structures and institutions and prizes from the official list were distributed.

The super Galian which rewards the best score in the official list was not awarded this year.

The minister in charge of communications, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, indicated that to win the Super Galian, you need, at least, a score of 17/20.

Unfortunately, he lamented, none of the works in competition obtained this mark.

This year, the super Galian prize is made up of an F3 type villa worth 18 million 500 thousand CFA francs, offered by Kastor Immobilier and 3 million FCFA to the Ministry of Communication.

The president of the transitional legislative assembly, Dr. Ousmane Bougouma, while congratulating journalists for their resilience in processing information in this context of security crisis, deplored the absence of a super Galian in this competition.

The last edition, the ‘Super Galian’ 2023 was awarded by Souleymane SANOU of Radiodiffusion Télévision du Burkina with a score of 17.15/20 in the television/image creation and advertising section.
