Nadège Yé of Éditions Sidwaya won the 2023 Marie-Soleil Grand Prix on Saturday, rewarding the best female journalist of the year.
She was also named best female journalist of the year 2023, in the written press category.
Last year, the same prizes went to Éditions Sidwaya thanks to its journalist Mariam Ouédraogo.
The competition is organized annually by the Norbert Zongo National Press Center.
He pays tribute to the late Marie Soleil-Frère, a Belgian-Burkinabe journalist who worked extensively on the media in Africa.
