Malfunctions Regulation Commission: members of the Steering Council installed

The Director of Cabinet of the President of Faso, Captain Martha Céleste Anderson Dekomwin MEDAH installed, yesterday Friday, the members of the Orientation Council of the Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions (CRD).

The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE has made good governance and the fight against corruption in ministries and institutions his leitmotif. To this end, he created by decree on July 24, 2024, the Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions (CRD), whose members of the Orientation Council, five in number, were installed by his Director of Cabinet, Captain Martha Céleste Anderson Dekomwin MEDAH.

They are Gna Tarcisius MILLOGO, Human Resources Management Advisor, Ragnang-newindé Isidore TIEMTORE, State Controller, Salamatou OUEDRAOGO, Lawyer, Roland OUEDRAOGO, Magistrate and Youlouka Luc DAMIBA, Anti-Corruption Specialist Researcher.

The CRD, according to the decree, has jurisdiction over any structure that delivers public service. It is responsible for requestin
g the application of sanctions against an offending agent and the hierarchical superior who does not require the sanction, to ensure the application of the unimplemented recommendations of the audit and control reports of the structures and public control bodies.

The Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions is also responsible for monitoring the execution of judicial and administrative sanctions, ensuring the implementation of their implications and ensuring the processing of reports not pursued in relation to facts handled by the administration.

According to the Director of the Cabinet of the President of Faso, the CRD Orientation Council will have branches in all ministries and institutions in order to promote virtuous governance and regulate dysfunctions within the public administration.

“The proper functioning of the CRD requires that men and women sacrifice their time, put their intelligence into synergy to respond effectively to the requests that Burkinabe people would submit to them,” said Mart
ha Céleste Anderson Dekomwin MEDAH.

“You must be committed VDPs. This is a first, you will probably be fought. You must fight until your means are exhausted,” said the Director of the Office of the President of Faso, who recognizes that there are challenges to be met. He called on the members of the orientation council to raise awareness among Burkinabe by making them understand the issues at stake in this Commission.

The Secretary General of the Presidency of Faso, Dr Zakaria SORE recalled, on this occasion, that the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, is resolutely committed to providing Burkina Faso with an effective and efficient administration.
