Placental governance or the falsified paradise”, the ninth novel by Alfred Jean Michel Bationo, signed on Thursday, describes an imaginary country led by Panga in which his relatives without charisma or qualifications, occupy key functions until Zug-Nooma takes power…
Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana, Governor of the Centre-East Region, chaired on October 24, 2024, the dedication ceremony of the ninth novel by certified French teacher and writer Alfred Jean Michel Bationo, still working at the Koupéla Municipal High School. This event was held this Thursday in the room of the Centre-East Regional Council.
Placental Governance or Falsified Paradise is a 201-page novel, divided into four parts. The author has once again taken up his pen to depict an imaginary state led by President Panga, who is embarking on an authoritarian drift.
In the country of Panga, men and women without charisma or qualifications occupy positions for which they are not competent. The tyrant Panga turns a blind eye to the atrocities
committed by his relatives.
With this unorthodox management, the fall of Panga is expected. The hero Zug-Nooma, an opponent of the regime, will try to put the country back on the path of hope.
In this work, the professor and writer introduces the concept of “placentocratism”, a real threat to the stability of countries taking their first steps towards democracy.
The governor took the opportunity to congratulate and encourage Professor Alfred Jean Michel Bationo for the quality of his work. As guest of honor, Nachor Sorgho, Regional Director of Secondary Education of the Center-East, invited reading lovers, and in particular students, to appropriate the novel, available in bookstores at the price of 13,000 FCFA, in order to cultivate in them patriotic and peaceful values.
