Kourweogo: The population of Ritiguè Koudogo is redeveloping an access track

The 1st vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Boussé, Albert Tiendrébeogo, visited to encourage, on June 1, 2024, the population of sector 4 of Boussé, who began a week ago the repair of part of the section of the road leading to Gasma.

The track at the eastern exit of the town of Boussé which leads to the village of Gasma, approximately 12 km long, serves the districts of Kolonkom, Ritiguè Koudogo and Zan.

03 km from the town, it crosses a valley which causes enormous difficulties for users in winter.

At the initiative of the chief of Ritiguè koudogo, Naaba Boulga, women, men and children mobilized with the means on hand to backfill the most difficult section, using tricycles and carts.

In the opinion of local residents, this part of the track constitutes an ordeal in rainy weather.

According to Laurent Ouédraogo, when the shallows fill with water, there is no longer any question of going to Boussé whatever the means of transport, without running the risk of falling, getting stuck i
n the mud or even drowning.

To this, he said, we must add the damage caused by users in the surrounding fields, trying to entertain to avoid the mud. In the event of a need for evacuation, the area is inaccessible by ambulances or any other vehicle.

While recognizing that this work falls within the remit of the town hall, the 1st vice-president of the special delegation translated these encouragements to the population.

Albert Tiendrébeogo congratulated them for the example of civic engagement that they set.

Referring to the studies carried out on this road, the traces of which are still visible on the trees all along the road, Mr. Tiendrebeogo indicated that the population has the hope that the work will finally begin to be carried out for the happiness of the people. populations.
