Kourweogo/Patriotic commitment: Populations invited to revive the heritage of the RDP

The High Commissioner of the Kourwéogo province, Siaka Baro, chaired the launching ceremony of the first edition of the days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in Boussé. The rise of collective colors marked the event with the participation of the established bodies of the province.

‘Consolidate the foundations of the Burkinabè nation, strengthen social cohesion and live together’, this is what the inhabitants of Kourwéogo were called to do this Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Boussé, by the authorities.

The High Commissioner of the Kourwéogo province, Siaka Baro, indicated that the days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation will be commemorated for around two weeks twice a year, in the months of March and October.

‘During the next two weeks, the citizens of Kourwéogo are invited to translate their love for the homeland into action,’ he added.

For the first person in charge of the province, the two weeks of these days must be marked by the adoption of an ind
ividual and collective attitude.

Baro also added that these attitudes go in the direction, among other things, of the defense of the nation, national preference in the choice of consumer goods, tax citizenship, protection of the environment, respect for societal values.
