Eight sewing learners at the end of the cycle of the B aadtenga women’s training center , carried out their official outing on Saturday June 1 , 2024 in Koupéla, in the presence of the Provincial Director in charge of the C culture of Kouritenga, Amédée Wend -la-Sida S ilga and the Provincial Director of Youth of Kouritenga , Natalie Yéyé .

After 4 years of training in the Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus women’s training center in Baadtenga, these girls are now ready to integrate into the world of employment .

It is in this context that the Center organized a graduation ceremony on Saturday June 1, 2024 in Koupéla with a thanksgiving mass, playback dances and model parades .

Ubertine Kima, a girl at the end of her training and top of her class , expressed her joy while thanking the trainers for the efforts made .

‘I am very happy with my training, words fail me , I am very happy. I thank the sisters and the instructors for the effort made throughout our formation; It’s true that it wasn’t always easy wit
h the sisters but we managed to get along and here today we have finished our training to now enter the active world ,’ said Ubertine Kima .

She invited her sisters to work harder and have more courage because according to her, it is only the beginning that is complicated .

The president of the parents of students praised the trainers for what they do for the girls .

For Blaise Yaméogo , ‘Dear sisters, you who are in this center and elsewhere, who work for the training of our girls, may God bless you and strengthen you further and bless your work in this center ‘ .

As for the Director of the center , Sister Cécile K aboré , she said she was satisfied with the work done by the girls themselves despite the difficulties they encountered during the year.

She did not fail to provide advice to the girls for the future in their professions .

‘At the start of the year we welcomed 92 girls and we closed the year with only 78 girls. There are several causes of this problem. I can say that I am satisfied with the
year. Really I am very happy with the results of the girls ,’ said the director .

Sister Cécile Kaboré indicated that for the years to come the center will further strengthen the professions.

She encouraged the girls at the end of their training to put their training into practice, not to give up when it is on the market and to get serious about work to attract more customers .

‘ For the girls who do weaving who will also take their CQP professional qualification certificates next year, I encourage them to work harder and have more courage, ‘ continued Sister Kaboré.

For the Provincial Director of Youth , the women ‘s training center is to be welcomed because it will not only allow young girls to be able to integrate professionally into the social environment but also and above all to fight against growing unemployment in Burkina Faso.

The four best students in each class were rewarded in sewing plus one student in weaving . Those in the 4th year of sewing , who are at the end of their training, each rec
eived a kit and a certificate and those in the 3rd year are preparing for the Professional Qualification Certificate ( CQP) .
