The Kénédougou Citizen Watch Movement has been operational in the orchard city since March 6, 2024.
It was through a series of visits to local and customary administrative authorities that the Movement for Patriotic Citizen Watch began its activities on March 6, 2024, in the province of Kénédougou.
The president of the Patriotic Watch Movement, Hermann Konaté, indicated that the objectives of the said Movement aim to support the actions of the ongoing transition in Burkina Faso.
‘It is also to support the President of Faso and the AES countries,’ he declared.
The provincial women’s coordinator, Bernadette Traoré/Sanou, welcomed the advent of this movement in Orodara.
She invited women to mobilize strongly around this civic watch.
In the same vein, Orokya Traoré, another female leader, urged her sisters to join in supporting the actions of the transition in Burkina Faso.
