ISTIC: sharing success stories with digital professionals


Ouagadougou: As part of the Masters classes, the Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques organized an event on Tuesday February 20, 2024 called ‘Red carpet for professionals’. On this occasion, digital communication specialists shared their experiences with the institute’s trainees.

Professionals in digital communication and branding share their experiences with students from the Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques (ISTIC). Indeed, on the occasion of the Masters classes, the school held an event entitled ‘Red carpet for professionals’, on Tuesday February 20, 2024 within the establishment. ‘As part of the Masters classes, we invited specialists in digital communication and branding to share their experiences, talk about their professional careers and advise the students,’ explained one of the supervisors of the communication workshop, Wenceslas Yoni. He specified that the organization of this activity was entirely entrusted to the students as part of
the practical exercises. He said he expected learners to benefit from the experiences of the panelists.

According to Moumouni Kowé, marketing and communications director at Coris Holding, panelist, with technological development, digital communication takes on its full meaning.

‘It is important for an institution, a personality, and all of what we do today. For communication trainees with whom we interact, it can be important because it can lead to job opportunities and professions such as community manager, which is an important profession in digital communication,’ argued Moumouni Kowé.

Communication advisor trainee, Catherine Bado learned from communications that you need patience and love in everything you do. ‘The first panelist called on us to perseverance, the desire to learn, this is what led him to be experts in digital communication. He also invited us to follow suit,’ she said.

ISTIC organizes master classes annually for the benefit of students at the end of their training
in order to enable their immersion in the professional environment. This year, it takes place in three phases from February 15 to April 1 and integrates professional practices in radio broadcasting, television, written press, online press and communication.
