For the 2025 Hajj, the Saudi authorities want each agency to be able to recruit at least 1,000 pilgrims or to come together to reach this number, informs the Burkinabe Ministry of Territorial Administration.

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Mobility informs travel and tourism agencies approved for the organization of the pilgrimage to Mecca of new directives issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Indeed, the opening of a sub-account on the Saudi platform as an affiliated organizer is conditioned by the recruitment of at least one thousand (1000) pilgrims.
Therefore, for the next Hajj, each agency will have to recruit this minimum number to obtain approval to organize.
Also, travel and tourism agencies that do not reach this quota will have to group together in compliance with this requirement. In this case, the approval will be awarded to the agency that has recruited the most pilgrims.
The Minister knows that he is counting on the collaboration of
travel and tourism agency stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of these new measures.
