The Secretary General of the Eastern region officially launched the first edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) this Tuesday 2024 in Fada N’Gourma .

During this launching ceremony, the Secretary General repeated the speech of the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Thus, we remember from this message from the Head of State that these days are established by the government with a view to consolidating the foundations of the Burkinabè nation, to strengthen social cohesion and living together. They are held on March 26 and October 2 each year for two weeks. Still quoting Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Mr. Siaka Ouattara indicated that through the launch of these days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, he invites each Burkinabè to take simple actions such as planting a tree at each happy event, contributing to the peace effort and get involved as a VDP. In Fada N’Gourma, the ceremony began with the raising of the national colors followed by the national anthem in Gourmantché sung by primary education stakeholders, in front of the constituted bodies, the military and paramilitary, as well as the displaced people internal.

Returning to values and symbols means reminding everyone of their duty, carrying out their mission so that the country remains standing,’ commented Hervé Issiaka Combary, association manager, regarding the institution of these days of commitment. patriotic.

The women’s representative of the commune of Fada N’Gourma, Ramatou Nassouri, appreciated the fact of singing the national anthem in Gourmantché during the raising of the national flag. According to her, it is a way of promoting national languages.
