Gourma: Imam El hadji Aboubakar Kina wishes Allah to accompany the Transition authorities

Ouagadougou: Imam El hadji Aboubakar Kina, hoped that Allah would accompany the authorities of the Transition and those who are fighting for the restoration of the territory, on Sunday June 16, 2024 in Fada N’Gourma, during the Tabaski festival.

The Muslim faithful of Fada N’Gourma celebrated the feast of Eid El Kabir on Sunday June 16, 2024, in the city of Yendabili.

At the Martyrs’ Square, women, men and children prayed to testify to their belief in the tradition according to which God asked the prophet Ibrahim to immolate his only son.

In exchange for his son, God sent him a sheep.

Thus in his sermon, Imam El hadji Aboubakar Kina prayed for the return of peace to Burkina Faso in general and in the Eastern region in particular.

He also hoped that Allah would accompany the authorities and all those who are fighting for the restoration of our territory in their noble daily mission.

To the pilgrims of Mecca, Imam Kina wished a good fulfillment of their religious pillar.

The Governor of the Eastern Regio
n, Ram Joseph Kafando, expressed gratitude to the Muslim community who pray day and night for the return of peace to the country.

He also praised the resilience of this community which, despite adversity, has shown the world that it can come together to pray.

Ram Joseph Kafando asked the Muslim faithful and the population to unite behind the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) against the terrorist hydra.

Father Pascal Soubeiga, at the head of a delegation from the Catholic community, came to demonstrate unity and fraternity to their Muslim brothers.
