Gourma/Baccalauréat 2024: The secretary general of the province salutes the resilience of the candidates

The Secretary General of the Eastern region, Siaka Ouattara, praised this Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Fada N’Gourma, the resilience of the candidates, during the official launch of the oral and written tests of the baccalaureate for the 2024 session. The region recorded 4,993 candidates seeking the first university diploma.

It was at the head of a delegation that the Secretary General of the Eastern region, Siaka Ouattara, gave the starting point for the oral and written baccalaureate exams for the 2024 session at Yentéma high school

He wished good inspiration to the candidates before saluting the resilience of the various stakeholders (students, parents, teachers and valiant fighters of terrorism), to make it possible to hold this exam despite adversity.

Siaka Ouattara asked to show stoicism in the face of the tests because according to him, the subjects which will be proposed to them are not out of the ordinary.

The regional director of post-primary and secondary education in the East, Pascal Tiendrébéogo
, suggested that for this session, 4,993 candidates including 2,476 girls and 2,517 boys are registered in all series combined and are distributed among 21 judges.

The Eastern region has five (05) composition centers for the baccalaureate: Bogandé, Diapaga, Diabo, Fada N’Gourma and Pièla.

Pascal Tiendrébéogo maintained that everything is in place for this session to take place in the best conditions
