The people of Gayéri have mobilized to show their support for the Transition and the peace effort.
On the morning of Saturday May 27, 2023, the population of Gayéri in the province of Komondjari came out massively to show their support for the President of the Transition Ibrahim TRAORE in his fight to regain the national territory, plagued by terrorist threats.
To give concrete expression to this support, the Komondjari monitoring unit initiated a voluntary collection within the population of Gayéri with a view to participating in the peace effort.
In total, a sum of 1 million 405 thousand 475 FCFA was mobilized including 1 million 145 thousand 975 FCFA on the spot and 259 thousand 500 FCFA from the displaced persons residing in Fada N’Gourma.
