Galian 2024: Rémi Zoeringré, Liradan Ada, Hugues Sama and 19 other journalists and technicians in the official list

Ouagadougou: The 27th edition of the Galian prize competition closed its doors Friday evening in Ouagadougou, with 21 official prizes awarded to men and women of the media, in the categories national languages, press in online and audiovisual press.

According to the jury’s proclamation, four official prizes were awarded in the national languages ??category.

For the national language sound broadcasting magazine genre, the winner is Aïcha Kabré from Arc-en-ciel radio.

Abdoulaye Sawadogo from rural radio presented the best major report.

Boukaré Ouedraogo of Savane FM was crowned best radio presenter in the national language.

In the reporting genre, the first prize went to Issaka Ilboudo from radio Kadre Kibaré.

In the online press category, two official prizes were awarded: to Samira Bationon of leFaso.net in the reporting genre and to Tinga Paul Soma of Faso 7 in the online press portrait genre.

In terms of the written press, the investigation by Ibrahim Tinga from L’Évènement was distinguished.

The jou
rnalists from L’Observateur Paalga, Hugues Sama, in the major reporting category, and Pamoussa Félix Kaboré, for the best headline, were awarded prizes.

In the section of creation and advertising in the written press, press photo, it was the work of Rémi Zoeringré from Éditions Sidwaya which caught the attention of the jury,’ we deliberated.

For the French category, six journalists were awarded prizes. They are Hervé Kaboré from Radiodiffusion du Burkina (RTB) in the major report, Rasmata Ouédraogo from RTB-Est for the magazine and Charles Tiendrébéogo from national radio in the interview genre.

In this category, the best radio presenter is Mathieu Somda. The prizes for best sound recording and best editing were awarded respectively to Arouna Daïla from rural radio and Romain Bouda from national radio.

Concerning the audiovisual category, the major television report was awarded to Liradan Philippe Ada. The TV documentary, for its part, went to Fabrice Gérald Zongo of RTB Télé.

nter was awarded to Hervé Dapa from BF1 television.

The prizes for best TV editing and best sound recording went to Frédéric Ouaba from RTB Télé and Honoré Soulama.

The President of the Legislative Assembly of the transition, Dr. Ousmane Bougouma, and the government delegation, present at the 27th Galian night this Friday, June 14, 2024, praised the resilience of journalists in this context of security crisis before congratulating the winners for the awards, which according to them, are an invitation to more professionalism.

Dr Bougouma also invited journalists whose works were not awarded prizes not to give in to discouragement, but to work harder to perfect their productions for future editions.
