Centre-East: Donation of three brand new medical-technical ambulances

Ouagadougou: The general secretariat of the Center-East region handed over on Thursday three new ambulances for the municipalities of Bittou in the province of Boulgou, Dourtenga in the province of Koulpélogo, and Gounghin in the province of Kouritenga.

The initiative is the result of collaboration between the governments of Togo, Burkina Faso and Niger, with the support of the World Bank through the Niamey-Ouaga-Lomé Regional Economic Corridor Project (PCE-LON).

This donation of ambulances will help improve the provision of quality care in their respective localities.

The total value of the donation is estimated at more than 200 million CFA francs, a gesture that comes at the right time according to the beneficiaries.

As a reminder, the Lomé-Ouaga-Niamey Economic Corridor Project (PCE-LON), launched on May 27, 2022, will last six years. It has already started rehabilitation work on the Tibga-Diabo-Comin-Yanga-Ouargaye regional road.
