Ouagadougou: Staff delegates from the municipal high school of Saaba and that of Nioko I denounced on Friday irregularities noted, according to them, in the organization of the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC) in the central region.
‘The organization of the BEPC has been experiencing problems in the Central region since it was entrusted to the provincial directorate of post-primary and secondary education in Kadiogo,’ declared the spokesperson for the staff of the Saaba and Nioko high schools. 1, Saada Daboné, Friday during a press briefing.
Mr. Saada criticized the organizers of the BEPC examination, among other things, for the late provision of invitations and the lack of visibility on the criteria for choosing actors.
According to him, some of his colleagues were contacted at night for summons by people whose identity is not known.
For Saada Daboné, the number of actors summoned is tiny compared to the task.
‘For example, at Nioko l high school, only the English teachers were summoned. At the S
aaba municipal high school, no call for corrector or secretary was assigned. Worse, the name of the Saaba municipal high school is not found among the list of establishments selected,’ explained Mr. Daboné.
For the spokesperson for the staff of the two high schools, ‘the software is used as a pretext by the authorities to justify all the malfunctions’.
Remaining convinced of the possibility of remedying the situation, Saada Daboné invited the Minister in charge of National Education, Jacques Sosthène Dingara to take a particular look at the organization of the BEPC
