The Autonomous Civil Servants’ Pension Fund (CARFO) launched the first edition of the Solidarity Cup on Friday evening in Ouagadougou, in the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Social Protection, Bassolma Bazié.
According to CARFO’s general manager, Hyacinthe Tamalgo, the objective of the tournament is to promote social cohesion among workers and to raise their awareness of the services provided by the organization.
For him, this competition will take place in one week and will include communications on technical services of CARFO, in particular, retirement pensions and professional risks.
The Minister in charge of the Civil Service, Bassolma Bazié, invited the teams to play fair and to perform acts of fraternity on the field.
“In this competition, there will be no winner or loser. There will only be winners, because the primary objective of this competition is to strengthen solidarity between the sons and daughters of our country,” he said.
The launching ceremony of
the CARFO solidarity cup was attended by the Grand Chancellor of the Burkinabe Orders, General Pingrenoma Zagré and many other personalities.
