Burkinabè supporters ready to ‘bomb’ Saturday at the peace stadium

The National Union of Etalons Supporters (UNSE) declared Thursday in Bouaké that its entertainment troupe is ready to overheat the Bouaké Peace Stadium to push its team to victory against the Fennecs of Algeria in the shock of group D.

‘We are sharpening everything to be there because this match is really crucial for the Stallions. We have always been the best supporters in Africa. On match day it’s going to bomb. The Algerians will know that they are facing a determined people in front of their national eleven,’ declared UNSE president Ousséni Tougma on the supporters’ site in Bouaké when the AIB visited them.

The 12th man was repeating the scales. A big event on the supporters’ accommodation site attracted the attention of local residents who came to observe this exceptional atmosphere. President Tougma justified this XXL preparation to give joy to the country.

‘The country is currently going through very difficult times. Football today is the real unifying and unifying factor. With what is happening in
the country and with the victories, the temperature will drop. We will win to make the population happy. The FDS and VDP are at the front fighting for the country and have an eye on the results of the Stallions. Victory is therefore imperative to give them more strength to fight,’ said President Tougma.

He explains that ‘the players are aware of this and as Tapsoba (Edmond: editor’s note) said, they will do everything to make the people happy. Saturday’s victory will be dedicated to the FDS and the VDP.’

Baba Thiombiano known as Ismaël (70 years old) is a member of the UNSE of the Eastern region and is present in Bouaké for the cause of the Stallions. ‘We are putting on the show today to support the Elephants who will be playing and so that on Saturday their supporters will return the favor.’

He reassures that another group of supporters will come from the country to swell the number of those from Bouaké.

Alassane Nacoulma known as Pierre Sababouma, the UNSE main drummer, mentions that ‘we are ready to do
our part of work on Saturday and we are asking the players to also wet their jerseys. We will be more lively than against Mauritania.

The UNSE entertainment troupe has won the trophy for best supporter of the CAN several times: In Cameroon (2022), in Gabon (2017) and in South Africa in 2013.
